Studio Internship

GnarWare’s Internship is designed for recent grads, students, and folks interested in career change. This three month internship gives participants hands on experience in how to run and manage a community clay studio. Participants also get teaching training and professional development to help move their goals and career forward.

Interns assist studio technicians, as well as design specific projects they would like to learn more about. This is an unpaid internship, but Interns are also granted free studio access and can buy clay for a discounted $1/lb per pound that includes pricing for firing and glazing.

Requirements

Must be available 8-20hrs/ week during our open hours Wednesday-Sunday 12pm-8pm.

Ability to lift 50lb.

Good at communicating and working with people.

Have previous experience taking classes or working with clay.

Positive attitude.
